About the opportunity ? Meal Preparation : Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary requirements.
Food Safety Compliance : Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure safe food handling.
Dietary Support : Cater to individual dietary needs and preferences, including texture modifications.
Dining Room Management : Set up dining areas, serve meals, and assist residents during mealtime.
Cleaning Duties : Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and sanitizing surfaces.
Inventory Management : Assist in tracking food supplies and reporting shortages to supervisors.
Communication : Collaborate with nursing and dietary staff to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met.
Resident Interaction : Engage with residents to enhance their dining experience and encourage socialization.

To thrive in this role, you will have: Food Handling Certification : Relevant certifications in food safety and hygiene.
Experience in Aged Care : Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Culinary Skills : Basic cooking skills and knowledge of nutritional guidelines.
