Reporting to our Food & Beverage Manager, the Food Service Assistant will be responsible for delivering full-service catering and providing customers with an exceptional, world-class food and dining experience.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Ensuring customer expectations are exceededLiaising with kitchen staff when delivering prepared food to patronsKeeping all service areas clean, tidy, and well-preparedExplaining menu content to customers and assisting those with special dietary needs or preferencesResponding to customers' requests promptly and efficientlyMaintaining standards of hygiene for food handling and presentationGreeting and welcoming all customers with attentive and personal serviceEnsuring smooth handover is completed before the end of each shift to the relevant team member(s)Building rapport and connections with our customers to ensure exceptional customer serviceSharing feedback provided by the customers with managementWHO'S THE IDEAL CANDIDATE?We are seeking a high-performing Food Service Assistant who enjoys building strong relationships.
