Reporting to our Food & Beverage Manager, the Food Service Assistant will beresponsible for delivering full-service catering and provide customers with an exceptional, world class food and dining successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Ensuring customer expectations are exceededLiaising with kitchen staff when delivering prepared food to patronsKeeping all service area clean, tidy and well-preparedExplaining menu content to customers and assist those with special dietary needs or preferencesResponding to customers' requests promptly and efficientlyMaintaining standards of hygiene for food handling and presentationGreeting and welcoming all customers with an attentive and personal serviceEnsuring smooth handover is completed before the end of each shifts to the relevant team member(s)Building rapport and connections with our customers to ensure exceptional customer serviceSharing feedback provided by the customers to the managementWHO'S THE IDEAL CANDIDATE?We are seeking a high performing Food Service Assistant who enjoys building strong will have previous experience in food and beverage roles in bar or restaurant addition, you will have the following skills and experience:Experience in Catering or as food service assistantDemonstrate experience in time management and possess the ability to multitaskExcellent presentation and customer service skillsStrong awareness of Hygiene and Food Safety StandardsGenerally, a people person whois able toengage with customers and employees and work in a collaborative environmentGood communication skillsConfidence in liaising with various internal and external partiesPERKS & BENEFITSAt Scape, we are all about creating and sharing the good vibes.
