About the company/role: We are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to work with an Australian food processing company, based in the south-western suburbs.
We are looking for a switched-on Food Science student to assist with some project work over the summer period.
Duties: You will be reporting to the Laboratory Manager, and your duties will include: Sample receipt and preparation for analysis Conducting testing as required Lab data entry and administrative duties Contribute to continuous improvement and GLP practices Calibration of laboratory instruments and general lab upkeep Skills & Requirements: Currently studying a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science or Agribusiness, is essential Relevant experience with industrial chemicals, highly regarded Knowledge of analytical techniques and quality control requirements Excellent written and oral communication skills Valid Provisional or Full drivers' licence and access to your own vehicle, is essential Availability from mid November 2024 until end of February 2025 Full, unlimited work rights in Australia Apply!
