About the company/role:
We are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to work with an Australian food processing company, based in the south-western suburbs. We are looking for a switched-on Food Science student to assist with some project work over the summer period.
Duties:
You will be reporting to the Laboratory Manager, and your duties will include:
Sample receipt and preparation for analysisConducting testing as requiredLab data entry and administrative dutiesContribute to continuous improvement and GLP practicesCalibration of laboratory instruments and general lab upkeep Skills & Requirements: Currently studying a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science or Agribusiness, is essentialRelevant experience with industrial chemicals, highly regardedKnowledge of analytical techniques and quality control requirementsExcellent written and oral communication skillsValid Provisional or Full drivers' licence and access to your own vehicle, is essentialAvailability from mid November 2024 until end of February 2025Full, unlimited work rights in Australia Apply!
