# ABOUT THE JOB... This position involves working with and taking direction from our FOH (front of house) or BOH (back of house) Shift Team Leaders. We focus on and provide training and coaching to assist in building skills, knowledge, and experience. Some of the tasks you will do by area include:
# FOOD RETAILER - This is a CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB! Doing Fruit and Veg and Grocery preparation ready for retail sales, signageFollowing and ticking off - SOD (Start of Day) and EOD (End of Day) checklistsWorking the floor with customer care, being super helpful and attentivePoint of Sale, cash register and cash handling, including loyalty rewards and gift cards processingRetail customer order and supply stock processing, retail restocking, presentation and basic merchandising as directedOther general shop retail jobs as directed# CAFE WORK - types of work + Jobs to DO! Customer Service, Order taking, delivering meals, drinks (non-alcohol), clearing and resetting tables, setup, pack up, and reset ready for the next day!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
# IMPORTANT STUFF…+ getting yourself JOB READY! The AFTER-SCHOOL role generally involves working one shift WEEKDAYS usually 4pm to 6.00pm/6.30pm + one shift on WEEKENDS. WEEKEND shifts are usually 3 to 6 hours long. Minimum of two shifts per week. Must work weekends and be available to work some extra shifts on school holidays. There are occasional nighttime shifts for special functions and events.
# Pay rate is INTRO OR LEVEL ONE RESTAURANT AWARD. CASUAL by age.
# Being a junior position, tasks are lighter physical duties.
# It's important that you can follow reasonable direction as requested and can complete tasks timely and effectively.
