Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Australia / New Zealand provides contract GMP testing to human and animal pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and complimentary medicine manufactures, as well as an extensive range of SPF and other cosmetics testing, both in-vitro and in-vivo in accordance with a range of local and international standards.
The range of testing includes microbiological and chemistry on raw materials, in process and finished products, complemented by product formulation services.

Job Description We are currently seeking expressions of interest (EOI's) from highly motivated individuals to join our busy teams across Melbourne on a full-time basis.
We are seeking EOI's for a variety of roles which include: Support Operations Wash Buffer & Media Preparation Technician The Support Operations Wash role is a fundamental support operation within our client's state of the art R & D facility in Melbourne CBD.
Tasks for this role may include but are not limited to: Collection of labware from laboratories for cleaning (e.g.
glassware, 5L bioreactors etc.)
Dismantling of dirty equipment Disposal of single use components Pre-wash soak (if required for label removal) Preparation of equipment for washing and drying via a parts washer Preparation of equipment for sterilisation via an autoclave Storage and restocking Consumable kitting Delivery of clean equipment / kits to laboratories All activities will be captured via electronic record systems that details the equipment and consumables (if applicable) used and adherence to specified method Buffer & Media Preparation Technician will be supporting ongoing production activities within the Pilot Scale facilities through the provision of process solutions (up to 500 L) but will also provide routine bulk solutions to the development laboratories.
Tasks for this role may include but are not limited to: Weighing and dispensing of raw materials Equipment preparation and dissolution of dispensed powders pH/conductivity/volume adjustment of resultant solution to specification sampling and offline testing of prepared solutions final filtration of the solution into storage bag(s) integrity testing of used filters Qualifications Support Operations Wash Minimum 2+ years previous GMP manufacturing experience Laboratory Skills TAFE certificate / Diploma in an appropriate scientific field preferred Relevant exposure and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Buffer & Media Preparation Technician GMP Manufacturing - Dispensing & Mixing skills, Science Diploma preferred but suitable industry experience with a head for scientific thinking acceptable.
Solid understanding and previous experience working in a GMP environment is essential (Pharmaceutical Industry).
Experience in basic testing, pH/conductivity and volume adjustment highly regarded.
