Job DescriptionJob Description: Food and Beverage Team Leader (Afternoon Shift) As a Food and Beverage Team Leader at Mercure Perth, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual who can lead our team during afternoon shifts, ensuring our outlets operate smoothly and efficiently. This position requires weekend availability.
In this role, you will: Lead and supervise the food and beverage team during afternoon shifts, ensuring high standards of service.Oversee the set-up, service, and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.Ensure menu knowledge is up-to-date, including changes and promotions, and communicate this effectively to the team.Manage guest inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally, enhancing the overall guest experience.Ensure the proper handling and settlement of customer accounts using our POS system.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the outlets.Promote Mercure Perth by driving revenue and implementing strategies to improve service efficiency.Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude to the team, inspiring staff to do their best.Work closely with other departments to coordinate events and special functions as needed.QualificationsResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.Previous experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage operations.Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Flexibility to work afternoon shifts and weekends is essential, as we operate 7 days a week.Additional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
