About the role Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager this is a part-time role for an industry professional seeking their next challenge and career progression within a high paced hotel environment.
Supporting the outlet manager, you will be responsible for the supervision & delivery of all aspects of the day-to-day operation of our Vista Bar Lounge.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure efficient, friendly and professional service is provided for all guests & locals Liaise with team to ensure venue standards are upheld Ensure all mise-en-place is completed prior to opening Staff skill testing, training and development to maintain a constant focus on providing an excellent guest experience. Coordination of cleaning and maintenance of outlets, work areas, tableware, and utensils and other materials and equipment Supporting, managing and motivating our operations team to always perform beyond client expectations. Ensure revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities. In depth cocktail knowledge Previous leadership or supervisorial experience within a fine dining or premium service offering venue Onboarding new colleagues Flexibility to work a 7 day roster Have a full knowledge of, and practice all of the established hotel occupational health and safety guidelines (WH&S) Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment in conjunction with the Assistant Chief Engineer & Chief Engineer Organise employment rosters according to established hotel guidelines. Give assistance to other departments or outlets when required. Attend all scheduled meetings. Perform any other duties as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage and Food & Beverage Manager.
