In this role you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment, training and development of our team with an emphasis on delivering great customer service to our clients and event partners. You will forge strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sourcing exceptional talent in support of our exciting and diverse events staged at Sydney Showground. This role requires you to be hands-on and confident with all elements of recruitment, onboarding and the booking of casual staff. An important part of this role requires you to have a strategic mindset focusing on continuous improvement in our workforce availability, retention, rostering and deployment. You will be a champion for change whilst also leading our food and beverage casual team. About you… To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: Experience in recruitment and onboarding of new employeesExperience in workforce analysis and developing resourcing and supply strategiesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsThe ability to build your network and talent poolto ensure workforce requirements for the business are metPrevious experience and knowledge in major events or hospitalityExperience in managing budgetsA positive 'can do' attitudeThe ability to adapt quickly to changePrevious experience using workforce booking systems (E-tivity or similar)You will... Oversee the coordination and delivery of weekly and event rosters.Support the broader staffing team in recruiting, screening, and onboarding processes for our casual staffing pool.Handle general administrative tasks.Manage uniform setup and requirements.Help keep licensing and compliance records up to date.Assist with implementing our new time and attendance system.Manage event staffing check-ins and event staffing delivery.
