About the Role : We are currently seeking an experienced and professional F&B Operations Manager to join the Food & Beverage Team within the Stamford Plaza Brisbane on a Full-Time basis.
Reporting to the F&B Director, you will be responsible for assisting with the leadership of our Food & Beverage Outlets, driving revenue, engaging and developing our team, enhancing and refining the guest experience, managing costs/par levels, ensuring quality and consistent service and product.
Key responsibilities and tasks consist of, but are not limited to : Ensure all guest interactions throughout the delivery of food and beverage service are always carried out with pride and courtesy by our team. Liaise with outlet managers/supervisors to plan event order requirements. Oversee rostering and duties completed for all service periods across all outlets. Ensure correct cashiering procedures are followed in accordance with the hotel standards. Ensure outlets are set in a timely manner in accordance with the specific meal period, inclusive of table set up, buffet set up and clearance. Financial reporting/control of labour and beverage COGS. Ensure council compliance and WH&S is followed by all team. Lead by example by displaying a hands-on style, which encourages staff involvement, initiative and a focus on continuous improvement. The successful candidate must have : A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role as a Food & Beverage Operations Manager. Exceptional attention to detail and clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written. High standards of personal presentation and grooming. A sound knowledge of the Hospitality Industry. Knowledge of Argentinian food/cooking is an advantage but not necessary. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and meet deadlines. Current RSA & RMLV. Current Food Hygiene Certificate. Knowledge of Micros system is an advantage. The successful applicant must obtain a National Police Clearance.
