Food & Beverage Operations Manager, Mindil Beach Casino ResortDelaware North Australia has an exciting new opportunity based at Mindil Beach Casino Resort for a Food & Beverage Manager to lead our high performing F&B team.
Mindil Beach Casino Resort is Darwin's premier hospitality venue. We are now accepting applications for an experienced Hospitality manager looking for their next career opportunity to lead our outstanding restaurant, bar and events operation and take it to the next level. We are situated right on the Arafura sea, featuring the most beautiful sunsets and a broad range of restaurants and bars including Il Piatto, Dragon Court, The Vue, Sportsbar and our iconic Sandbar.
Reporting to the Executive Manager of Operations, you will be a seasoned hospitality professional who is passionate about leading a team to deliver outstanding guest service. Our venues are fast paced, so you will need to be someone who can provide a high level of support to a high-performing, loyal team.
A key to your success will be in creating and maintaining lasting relationships with all stakeholders and employees, communication of well thought of, and planned initiatives, followed by actions to drive results to achieve financial plan, profit margins, cost control and business growth.
ResponsibilitiesRun day-to-day operations: Manage the overall operations of all food and beverage outlets.Financial Management: Achieve annual budgeted revenue, compile and manage budgets and develop financial strategies for growth.Leadership and Team Development: Train and supervise the team, promote a positive working environment and champion company culture and values.Operational Excellence: Implement and monitor quality controls, ensure venue presentation and ambience, and manage stock and resources effectively.Guest Services: Foster a culture of guest service excellence and continuously improve the guest experience.Strategic Objectives: Contribute to company strategic goals, review and develop business strategies, and implement performance management for the team. Plan and collaborate all menu development and activations with the Executive Chef.What will you bring?Degree in hospitality management or relevant discipline, or significant industry experience (MBA highly regarded).Minimum 3-5 years leading and developing a multi-faceted food and beverage business, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.RSA / Liquor Licensee Certificate / Food Safety Qualification - highly regarded.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and hands-on leader.Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.Effective communicator with the ability to share your vision with the team.Lead the strategic direction of F&B operations and ensure the highest standards in the delivery of a memorable dining experience.Manage the high-performing F&B team, drive performance and engagement. Ensure the right learning and development opportunities are selected to boost the team's performance.Ensure the food & beverage department adheres to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, brand standards, and Internal Control Procedures.Prepare annual capital, cash flow and sales and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets.Experience in managing multiple projects is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, develop and inspire teams.Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills.Ability to think strategically and plan on a mid to long-term scale.
