The United Service Club Queensland is seeking to recruit an experienced Food & Beverage Cost Controller to assist our Chef and Operations Manager in our business of catering to a higher standard of daily dining and events catering.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 3 years in a similar role and be current with all aspects of the Brisbane hospitality supply chain.
The role will require a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week with flexible (on-site) working hours, necessitating proven skills in:

Verify the cost of sales for F&B outlets and Event menu packages, ensuring that retail pricing policies are maintained.
Submit monthly F&B Report via:

Monthly stock take results and spot checks as directed by the General Manager.
Assess portion sizes, wastage, and other non-cost-effective practices.


Develop a competitive purchasing network and quality control practice.
Examine incoming orders to ensure quality and agreed pricing specifications.
