Working in a team of 40, you will support the Events Services Manager in the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.
Some of the responsibilities include: Meeting and greeting guests arriving and departing the functions/meetingsAssist with the set-up of functions and meeting spaces while adhering to the safe manual handling practicesProvide personalised service on a large scale operationServing food and beverage to guests according to the established sequence of service and proceduresQualificationsPrevious Food & Beverage experience in a hotel environment or similar fast-paced environmentA valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate for VictoriaA local certificate in food handling and hygiene would be advantageousExceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skillsSuperior customer service skills along with the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a teamThe ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standardsThe flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
