Opportunity: Casual Food & Beverage Attendants – Support the US Marine Rotation in Darwin! Ventia is calling all enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as casual Food & Beverage Attendants for the upcoming US Marine rotation in Darwin!
These exciting roles will run from mid March to October, offering the chance to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting Defence Base Services.
You'll be working on a rotating 7-day roster, which includes weekend shifts and the opportunity to cover busy breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, as well as vibrant functions during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities: Meet and Greet Defence personnel, ensuring a warm and welcoming environmentHandle cash and EFTPOS transactions with precision and professionalismMaintain a clean and efficient kitchen, washing crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other equipment at the end of each shiftEnsure all perishable items (bread, milk, etc.)
are checked for best-before dates before serviceKeep the premises sparkling clean and hygienic at all timesDeliver exceptional customer service with a positive and proactive attitudeAssist with stock rotation, loading and unloading supplies, and maintaining stock levelsSupport inventory control for all kitchen supplies and equipmentEnsure the HACCP program is adhered to and operational standards are met each daySkills & Experience You Bring: Exceptional customer service skills – you love helping others and making their experience memorable!Previous hospitality and catering experience (preferred, but not essential)Defence experience is a plus, but not mandatoryA driver's license and your own transportBasic computer skills and experience with online rostering systemsIf you're ready to take on an exciting challenge and join a fantastic team in a role that offers variety, growth, and the opportunity to work in an exceptional setting, we want to hear from you!
