Lead the Food and Beverage team at City Hall Fixed Term until end of May 2025 Part Time role - 28 hours per week City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Civic Services team, working 28 hours per week until the end of May 2025.
This position works collaboratively within a team to provide excellent food and beverage operations for catering and events across Civic Services associated venues or locations.
The primary objective is to create a safe, welcoming environment and ensure smooth delivery of all food and beverage operations, to maximise the customers' enjoyment of our facilities.
This position will manage staff in day-to-day operations and perform relevant administrative duties to ensure all services provided are delivered at the highest possible standard, providing the best possible experience.
The essentials you'll need: Extensive hospitality management experience, particularly in busy environments Experience managing staff, including rostering, staff development and effective delegation Current RSA certification Excellent customer service skills, guest-oriented and service-minded Competence in stock-control and able to work within set financial parameters High level communication and leadership skills Able to spot and resolve problems efficiently High levels of cash-handling skills, proficiency with POS software Find out more about your new career by viewing the position description here .
