The role We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and people-oriented Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at Minnippi Golf & Range to oversee the Food & Beverage operations at Cooee Cafe & Restaurant.

Minnippi Golf Course is a brand-new 18-hole golf course and driving range with a newly constructed Restaurant, all only 15 minutes from the CBD of Brisbane, Queensland.

Our food approach is focused on local produce and ingredients showcasing local craft beers and spirits and we are looking for the right leader to support our delivery to the local community.

More detail Reporting to the Minnippi Golf & Range Venue Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all Food & Beverage operations at Minnippi Golf Course through the management of hospitality offerings on site, including driving the F&B service delivery of the Restaurant, Bar, Café, Golf Clubhouse function room spaces, Golf Course and Driving Range.

Responsibilities in this role include:

Ensure the exceptional delivery of customer service standards and that staff are held accountable for service delivery Promote, plan and deliver events and functions designed to maximise revenue and utilisation of F&B areas People management & leadership Budget and financial control & management Recruitment and selection of key personnel within the F&B department Daily management of staff including but not limited to daily shift direction and dealing with unacceptable performance or conduct Staff training and development including operational tasks, product knowledge, menu & event briefings Staff rostering in line with budget and business requirements Lead and manage the functions & events business unit Stock and inventory management – including ordering, unpacking, merchandising and stock takes Ensure F&B areas remain in a useable, safe and presentable state at all times Ensure adherence to the Food Safety Plan and hygiene standards Effective and timely business report writing The perks Free onsite parking Free employee assistance program Free golf, aquatic and gym membership across our managed sites – fair use policy applies Great workplace culture, true to our values Opportunity for growth and involvement in projects of significance for the business About you You will have:

2+ proven years' experience working in a similar role within the Hospitality, Entertainment and/or Recreation industries. Excellent people management skills Experience developing staff rosters Current RSA certificate Approved Manager license (desirable) Safe Food handling certification Extensive knowledge of wine, beer and cocktails Extensive knowledge and competency across workplace health & safety and compliance Proven track record of workingin a high paced, active F&Bentertainment space and delivering exceptional results Ability to collaboratively work within a multi-faceted business Ability to work weekdays and weekends Exceptional leadership skills including a proven track record of developing high performing teams, mentoring and coaching Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service Current First Aid, Working with Children Check and Police Check Please do not delay in sending through your application with a cover letter and your current resume.
