About the role We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager, to lead the Front of House operation of our Monarto luxury resort and lodge. This role will draw on your guest service flare and hospitality knowledge. Opening to the public in mid-2025, this role will be instrumental in the concept and creation of the Front of House aspect of our luxury hotel and lodge operation. This is a fun and truly unique opportunity.
Working closely with the operation providing guidance and support to establish and maintain consistency in the delivery of the food & beverage including pre opening.Develop menus and collaborate with the culinary team on site to ensure the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests ensuring the food offering is unique to the property.Provide training to the team, ensuring they are proficient in service techniques, product knowledge, and safety procedures.Monitor and control costs, including food and beverage inventory, and other operational expenses, to maximise profitability without compromising quality and guest service.Engage with suppliers to source and select products, negotiate contracts, and ensure that quality and price standards are met.Continuously evaluate guest feedback and implement improvement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.About you You will have a deep understanding of the Food and Beverage and Hotel industry, with previous experience in a senior position. Ideally, in leading a food and beverage establishment or hotel.
You will have a collaborative working style, be highly organised and be detail oriented. There will be a strong emphasis on continuous improvement to ensure and maintain the highest quality and distinctive service, fostering an engaged, skilled and motivated team.
