Join the dynamic team as the Food & Beverage Manager. This exciting, full-time role is based in Kingscote, Kangaroo Island, South Australia, one of Australia's key attractions. You will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing Manage and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar and conference facilities.Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitabilityEnsure exceptional customer service and guest satisfactionOversee the recruitment, training, and management of the food and beverage teamManage budgets and inventory to control costsStay up-to-date with industry trends and implement new ideas to enhance the guest experienceCollaborate with the wider hotel management team to deliver a cohesive hospitality experienceHands on leadership and active involvement in the day-to-day operation of the departmentWhat we're looking for Previous experience (2+ years) in a similar food and beverage management role within the hospitality industryStrong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in financial management, including budgeting and cost controlThorough understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory, ordering, and quality controlExperience implementing successful marketing and promotional strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills$75,000 – $77,000 pa, subsidised accommodation
