About this opportunity:
Our Food & Beverage Event Services and Staffing Coordinators are the backbone of our team and play an integral part in the smooth running of Culinary Services.
Whether you are working in operations looking for more stability or a budding Hospitality or Events professional looking for a step in the door and to see the inner workings of our Events business, this is the role for you.
You will:
Coordinate rostering of Food & Beverage team members, giving consideration to skills, experience, training and availability;Process event information to assist Culinary Services Front of House event planning;Lead coordination and/or maintain Culinary Services Front of House workforce planning system;Ensure appropriate communication and relationships are maintained both internally and externally;Assist with project documents, presentations and spreadsheets;Collect and collate the event orders for service delivery requirements to the Culinary Front of House team, updating information in line with the ICC Sydney front of house services operating guidelines;This position requires flexibility in regards to availability to work shifts during the day, evening and over the weekend.

Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced environment as a Team Coordinator, PA, Supervisor, Event Coordinator or operational experience with very strong administrative skills;Experience in workforce planning, rostering or administrative support;Working knowledge of the following Microsoft Computer packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;Basic IT systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills;High standard of writing and reporting skills with high attention to detail;Ability to think strategically, with an analytical and creative approach to problem solving;Valid working rights in Australia;You must be 18 years or over.What to expect next:
