Some of the responsibilities include: To seat, present menus, take orders, serve food and beverage to guests according to the established sequence and procedures.To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by hotel.To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu and ability to recommend food and beverage combinations and up sell alternatives.To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisorsTo deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.Assist the Manager in identifying training needsQualificationsPrevious food and beverage experience in a Hotel or a similar fast-paced environmentA current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificateExcellent food and wine knowledgeExceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skillsSuperior customer service skills along with the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a teamAbility to problem solve and thrive in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standardsThe flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysJoin us at Hyatt and make travel more human.
