Working among a team of 10, you will support the Room Service Assistant Manager in the day-to-day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.
This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your Hospitality career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.
Some of the responsibilities include: Deliver and present In Room dining and amenities to guest rooms in a timely mannerProvide personalized service to all guestsRemoval of serving trays and collection of breakfast ordersMaintain a clean, organized and sanitary environmentThorough understanding of all menu items and beveragesPick up orders and ensure outgoing orders are of Hyatt standardsOpening, set up and closing of the outlet per shiftCommunicate necessary information to ensure a smooth handoverQualificationsPrevious food and beverage experience in a Hotel or a similar fast-paced environmentA current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificateAbility to sell and upsell food and beverage combinations and/or alternativesExceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skillsSuperior customer service skills along with the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a teamAbility to problem solve and thrive in a fast-paced environmentA local certificate in food handling and hygiene would be advantageousThe ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standardsThe flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysJoin us at Hyatt and make travel more human.
