Position Overview: You will assist the Food and Beverage Manager to lead and train the teams in all areas of Food & Beverage and Events operations and provide the highest level of customer service. You will also be tasked with driving and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction results and overseeing daily operations whilst assisting in the management of wage costs, revenue and profitability of the various F&B outlets. This role is 'hands on', working as part of a team to provide quality products, quality service within budgeted cost guidelines.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to; Supervising and supporting your employees to ensure service standards are met and policies and procedures are observed to provide a consistent, high level of service for all levels of customer contact.Assist with staff training, corrective action meetings and any personnel issues with the Senior F&B Manager and HR Coordinator.Administration duties including but not limited to rosters, time sheets, reporting, personnel records and SOP's.Assist with stock take processes, ordering & barge delivery days.Liaise with the Conference & Events Coordinators and to effectively execute all Resort Events.Liaise with the Executive Chef and Kitchen department to ensure food standards are in accordance with company guidelines.Comply with safe work practices and manual handling techniques at all times and take a consultative role to assist in achieving a healthy and safe working environment for all staff.Skills you will possess: Strong computer skills in all aspects including spread sheets & POS systems - Guest Centrix or H & L will be highly regarded.Excellent attention to detail with professional and adaptive communication techniques.A hands-on approach with strong leadership skills and the ability to successfully train, guide and mentor staff.Projects a professional and positive image at all times.Works under pressure without negative impact.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Develops and maintains co-operative working relationships.Have the ability and willingness to undertake further development.Mandatory: Current QLD RSAMust have a current National Police Check issued by Queensland Police or able to obtain one within three weeks of commencing employment.Employees whose duties include driving a company vehicle, must hold a current QLD Driver's License.Why work for us?
