Winning Best Bistro (Metro) at the AHA Awards ABOUT THE JOB The role will work as an all-rounder providing support to bars, food service, and functions.
This casual position has an opportunity for increased hours and career development for the right candidate.
Evidence of your Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) and experience in bars and/or restaurants is essential to the role.
Ensure excellent and professional customer service at all times Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages Proficient in the professional service/supply, dispensing/mixing of liquor and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Ensure food, coffee & beverage presentation to the guests is to the required standard Ability to mix a wide range of sophisticated cocktails Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operations Efficient and thorough knowledge of the point-of-sale operating system Must participate and achieve targets of add-on sales, up-selling, and spend per head To maintain the clean and neat presentation of the work area – bar and or restaurant area(s) by adherence to all operating policy and procedures Follow Standard Operational Procedures and/or Safe Work Procedures for all areas of the hotel at all times as per WHS Act 2012 Ensure personal compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Any other duties directed by Management Level 2, Hospitality Industry General Award Enjoy the perks of a residential hotel with early closing times and secure this opportunity to join our team.
