THE ROLE: The scope of the role of Food and Beverage Assistant is to create a warm welcome and special memories through the service of food and beverage with knowledge and flair, across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. Key responsibilities include: Confident menu and service knowledge Preparing for service - Mise en place Cleanliness and presentation of your section Setting tables with crockery, cutlery, and glassware Providing recommendations and taking orders Suggesting pairings Liaison with the kitchen team and clear communication of special dietary requirements Service and replenishment of premium drinks, cocktails, wines, champagnes, and teas and coffees Checking satisfaction and handling additional requests and feedback Capturing guest preferences and special requests for future reference Billing, presentation, and payments Clearing tables and resetting for next service Requisitions and secure handling of stock WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We recruit people with widely varying personalities from different walks of life and backgrounds.
