The Plate Restaurant is a 140-seat restaurant with a bar & micro-brewery which is also part of a larger business that includes an artisan butcher & drive-thru coffee shop.
The Restaurant opens Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner.
Our culinary team produce some of the best food in the region using some of the best produce available. Our wine and spirit list house some eclectic hard to source bottles, many of which are sourced directly from cellar door & distilleries. Our in-house butchery dry-ages meat and slices boutique salumi for exclusive use within the restaurant. What other venue can boast that?
The Role:
We are looking for a FOH Manager to manage the delivery of service in The Plate. This is an ideal role for someone looking to make their mark in a growing business.
Position Overview:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the restaurant
Maintain impeccable restaurant standards across service, ambiance and product
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless dining experience
Curate wine and beverage offering with the senior leadership team
Manage bookings including function and group enquiries
Oversee staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
The person:
The skills and knowledge we are looking for include:
A background in a high volume quality hospitality business
Excellent knowledge across food and beverage
Absolute mastery in organisation and communication
Ability to manage, train and lead a team
And most of all, we are looking for personality, presence and charisma that represents this fabulous venue.
