We have an opportunity for a Senior to Principal level Botanist to join our Biological team. The highly-regarded Biological team includes botanists, zoologists and ecologists who specialise in biological assessments and monitoring.
The role: Lead and contribute to botanical and ecological projects Study scoping and design Leading field surveys, including in remote and exciting locations Vegetation/GIS mapping and related spatial data management Technical reporting of biological assessments and monitoring; desktop and field results Report technical review Aid in maintaining and strengthening client relationships Collaborate with technical specialists in our Environmental Assessments and Management team Play a vital role in developing and navigating strategic pathways of the business About You To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Bachelor degree (minimum) in botany, ecology, biological science, environmental science or equivalent 5+ years' relevant experience (in flora and vegetation assessments, preferably in Western Australia) demonstrated familiarity with current Technical Guidance for flora and vegetation surveys willingness to travel for field assessments, including to remote locations experience in the preparation of, or contributions to technical biological assessment reports the ability to lead and manage teams and projects proven experience in managing client relationships excellent verbal and written communication skills a proactive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional results in a team-focused environment You must be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent work visa to be considered for this role.
