The FMG Asset and Improvement Manager will lead the strategic direction and implementation of facilities maintenance improvement programs across Ampol's national sites.
The role ensures safe, reliable, and cost-efficient asset management, while driving operational excellence and enhancing risk and safety outcomes.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in Facilities maintenance improvement program across the asset and financial streams and have the ability to have use your expertise to continue to build out facilities maintenance improvement programs across Ampol.
The role will have periodic interstate travel and have the opportunity to work on project and initiatives within the business.
Key Responsibilities: Asset Management: Develop and implement an asset register for key facilities, ensuring operational reliability and compliance.Compliance & Risk Management: Create and manage compliance and regulatory registers to improve safety and mitigate risks.Lease Compliance: Oversee lease compliance and operational responsibilities.Strategic Planning: Develop long- and medium-term maintenance strategies and improvement plans.Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams including Property, Retail Excellence, HR, IT, and Ampol Energy.Process Improvement: Continuously enhance maintenance systems, processes, and service delivery.Budgeting: Manage operating and capital budgets, alongside long-term planning (up to 5 years).Risk Responsibility: Manage risks across operational, financial, and regulatory areas, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.Qualifications & Experience: 8+ years in maintenance, engineering, or asset management, ideally in high-volume service delivery environments.Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).Proven track record in facilities maintenance, project management, and continuous improvement.Skills: Strong leadership and team managementExpertise in risk, compliance, and asset managementExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to drive performance improvements and manage complex projectsHow to Apply:
