About This RoleWe have one of Australia's premium, semi-automated fruit handling packhouse in Narre Warren North.
We are now seeking a proactive, driven and approachable Maintenance Technician with exceptional time management skills to join our existing team.
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager & wider maintenance team, this role is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of plant and equipment associated with automated fruit handling systems, refrigerated warehousing and general site equipment maintenance.
Additionally, they are responsible for:
Responding promptly to breakdowns – working to resolve in a timely mannerDiagnosing mechanical faultsAssisting in spare part inventory managementPerforming routine inspections & preventative maintenance on plant equipment Accurate & timely completion of JSA / SWMSTesting & taggingEnsuring strict OHS compliance As we work with fresh produce – which only remains that way for a short period of time – this role requires someone who can work under pressure and think on their feet.
