Fluidra is seeking an experienced and driven Cleaning Category Manager to lead the pool cleaning category strategy in Australia and New Zealand.
This key role will focus on driving growth and expanding market share.
You will shape go-to-market strategies, manage product lifecycles, and collaborate with local and global teams to ensure a competitive and successful product offering.

Category Insights & Leadership : Champion the pool cleaning category across ANZ, analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Gather feedback to enhance product offerings and customer experience.
Category Planning : Develop and execute strategic category plans aligned with business goals.
Drive brand strategy for core brands, recommending optimal go-to-market strategies and pricing.
New Product Development (NPD) & Portfolio Management : Collaborate on product development, lead the product lifecycle from concept to phase-out, and optimize the product mix for profitability.
Sales & Marketing Alignment : Work closely with sales and marketing teams to implement promotional strategies, drive product visibility, and support campaigns across B2B and B2C channels.
Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyse category performance metrics, sales trends, and profitability.
Provide actionable insights to improve category performance and achieve sales targets.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Minimum 5+ years in category or product management, particularly in the consumer durables industry.
Proven success in managing premium products across both B2B and B2C channels.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Formal marketing qualifications are a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
In-depth understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and premium product positioning, preferably in a global organisation.
Customer-focused, strategic thinker, and detail-oriented with the ability to drive innovation.
