About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Flour Miller to join the team at our site in North Melbourne, Victoria.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and safe running of the flour mill and associated processes.
The role operates on a rotating shift pattern, with the shift hours being 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.
Main responsibilities of this role include:
Serve as a senior member of the production team, engage with complex production processes (PLC Scada Systems) Ensure delivery on customer quality compliance (Right First Time) Contribute as part of a team to ensure production runs at optimal performance levels Ensure all products meet specifications and productivity standards Maintain continuous efficiency of mill equipment Ensure timely completion of Milling Logs, SAP process orders and Operational Work Orders Participate in cleaning and maintenance programs for all site mill equipment Maintain safe and healthy work environment in compliance with company policies and procedures Contribute to Site environmental initiatives About you As a self-motivated and dedicated flour miller, you will have proven experience in flour or semolina milling, with a NABIM Milling Certificate or equivalent qualification. In addition, you will require:
Proven experience in running a flour milling process (minimum 5 years) Previous experience working as a senior member of a team, coordinating workflow, prioritising tasks and motivating other team members to meet high performance standards Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (BRC) Continuing commitment to maintain a safe working environment Proficient in clear communication with a customer focused attitude What's on offer at Mauri?
