8 September 2024 – 11:59pm Sterilisation Floor Coordinator Orange, Bloomfield Health Service About The Role Provide leadership and management for the day to day operations of the Sterilisation department.
In this role you'll coordinate internal processes and be responsible for decontamination, high-level disinfection and sterilisation of reusable medical devices.
As well as coordinating the priority equipment required by the operating theatre, you'll liaise with staff and suppliers on all equipment needs, responsible for the supervision of the instrument tracking system, collating information and maintaining records.
You'll have a minimum Cert III in sterilising technology with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Sterilising Unit.
You will be able to demonstrate well-developed interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, appropriate computer skills and the ability to supervise, coordinate and support team.
In addition to sound knowledge of A/NZ 4187 2014 and current hospital sterilising practices, you'll be an active problem solver, prioritise work easily and enjoy working as a team member.
