It is responsible for ensuring the Floodzoom emergency management platform operates reliably in readiness and response for flood emergencies, and contributes to improving the platform.
As the Floodzoom platform specialist, it has a strong focus on leading the development of the Floodzoom platform, its integration with Digital Twin Victoria and leading the platform's cyber security strategy.
What you'll bring We're looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives on delivering outstanding results. You will be an IT all-rounder who is willing to work in an agile way and as part of a small team with the support of a platform vendor (a third party) to deliver key platform objectives. Your spatial industry experience leading the implementation and development of web-based spatial tools, along with your experience in using and developing tools and services that manage, manipulate and visualise 3D data, will set you up for success in this role. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications Relevant industry and domain experience: Spatial industry experience leading the development and implementation of web-based, spatial tools and services. 3D Data, visualisation tools and Geospatial standards: You are an experienced user and developer of tools and services that manage, manipulate and visualise 3D data. Floodplain management: An understanding of the floodplain management policies and practices in Victoria is desirable. This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible with hybrid work arrangements available.
