This is a full-time position
Your work will be challenging, and the successful applicant will be required to work in industrial manufacturing and agricultural environments to meet strict maintenance deadlines. Our facility has not only meat processing facilities but also a grain terminal and harvesting facilities, your role will require you to work with grain harvest commodity facilities providing you with a varied range of tasks. An advanced knowledge and all-round ability to carry out a variety of tasks with flexibility and willingness to learn is preferred.

About the role
We are looking for HV & Mobile Plant Mechanic to repair, service, maintain and undertake heavy vehicle and mobile plant to ensure they are operating safely and maintained to manufacturers and Australian Standards.
You will also:
Conduct planned and unplanned (e.g., breakdowns) work, including, inspection, complex fault diagnosis and rectifying problems related to the servicing and maintenance of FIE's heavy vehicles and mobile plant equipment, Modify FIE's heavy vehicles and mobile plant equipment as per plans and engineering designs (e.g., extension of vehicles to carry plant). About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
Demonstrated industry experience as a Heavy vehicle / Mobile Plant Mechanic Base Trade qualification (AQF3) in Heavy Duty Mechanical applications - Heavy automotive / plant mechanical (mobile plant) Experienced in diagnosis and repair of hydraulics / low voltage electrical Highly developed teamwork skills - Must be able to work as part of a high performing team Valid NSW 'C' class licence (essential) Valid NSW 'HR' Driver's License (Desirable) Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate classes HVW and LVW (desirable) Please submit your application through this website.
