You will play a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing growth and success of our business.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure the profitable pricing of risks and identification of potential growth opportunities, focusing on our Heavy Motor and MPE products in the Fleet Underwriting team.
What you'll be doing: Reporting to the Underwriting Operations Team Leader, you will be an essential member of the team, helping to ensure impeccable service and quality, whilst ensuring sustainable and profitable business practices are established and maintained within underwriting operations.
In addition, you will: Manage Renewals, endorsements and new business opportunities to attain financial targets Develop expertise on underwriting issues across the portfolio Ensure implementation and compliance of the underwriting strategy, risk appetite, license authorities, risk controls, systems and procedures across the portfolio.
Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, business plans, priorities and processes Involvement in the identification of and pricing/policy negotiation with, the Business Development team What we'd like to see from you: As an experienced Heavy Motor / MPE Underwriter, you will have been performing at a high level for at least three years, with deep connections throughout the industry, broker markets and other relevant bodies.
You will be an exceptional communicator and someone who can build trust and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
