What will you be doing? As the Fleet Service Coordinator, you'll oversee the entire bus fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are safe, compliant, and ready for service.
This role will require strategic planning, close collaboration with other departments, and a commitment to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily bus fleet operations, ensuring all vehicles meet safety and operational standards.Maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for vehicle reliability, coordinating repairs and routine service to minimize downtime.Manage the fleet budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities in fuel, maintenance, and repairs.Ensure compliance with Australian transport laws and safety regulations through regular inspections and audits.Monitor driver performance to ensure adherence to company policies, addressing any behavioral or compliance issues.Oversee the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring timely procurement for vehicle upkeep.Use fleet management and tracking software to analyze performance metrics and trends, preparing regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance, and costs for management review.What do you need? 2+ years in a mechanical positionKnowledge of Australian transport regulationsStrong organizational skillsProficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft OfficeWhat's in it for you? $70-80,000 per year (salary negotiated on skills and experience)Professional development and training opportunitiesOther bonuses and perks can be negotiated (we just want the right person!
