About the role This position reports directly to the Vice President of Engineering Operations at TRITIUM Power Solutions and is based in the Engineering headquarters in Brisbane, Australia.
The Fleet Reliability Engineer leads activities that allow Tritium to ensure product reliability achieves the benchmark performance level across the industry.
He/She works closely with a range of stakeholders across the business to ensure swift resolution of complex in-service and production reliability/performance issues.
The role requires experience with complex system installations and a vision for how product monitoring and remote diagnostics can be continuously optimized.
Output driven and with an operational mindset, you will ensure that learnings from issue investigations are turned into corrective actions across products, parts, tools and procedures, and L2 support departments are enabled to manage reoccurrences in a quick and autonomous way.
Liaise with internal Engineering departments and Subject matter experts to develop in-depth product and technology knowledge.Diagnose and investigate in detail how products perform in the field to identify fault conditions that require temporary and permanent resolutions.Identify product improvement opportunities by using field data, customer reports, integration test and technical trend analysis.Work closely with L2 support teams to ensure complex issues are prioritized and escalated to the relevant SMEs.Manage product improvement projects that target key fleet issues.Work closely with Technical Sales Support when customer-specific integration projects require assistance with technical expertise.Liaise with Global Operational Stakeholders and prioritize projects that enable Tritium to achieve Key Operational Targets.Ensure engineering projects are fully documented, design and development activities are peer reviewed, risks are identified and mitigated, and blockers removed.Ensure deliverables are released in time and to all relevant stakeholders, via the relevant Change Management and Release processes.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to electric vehicle charging systems.Ensure that product improvements meet applicable safety standards and are compliant with relevant codes and regulations.Adhere to the Tritium WHS policy and procedures.About you Masters degree or Bachelors degree in System, Mechatronics, Electronics engineering or Computer Science.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in Reliability Engineering.Broad technical knowledge in areas of Electronic/Electrical products for Industrial/Consumer/Automotive/Medical markets.Knowledge of Power electronics, Control systems, Communication protocols (CANbus), IoT (MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP) etc.Experience with Linux systems required.Scripting experience beneficial (Shell/Bash for Linux).Customer First mindset, with the ability to comprehend product performance within a complex system setup.Experience with tools for data analytics, dashboard creation, performance prediction.Experience with Task and Project management tools (Jira, Confluence, SalesForce).Experience with Supplier Integration desired.Demonstrated hands-on experience with conceptual design, prototyping and validating.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven accuracy and attention to detail.Enthusiasm and highly motivated.Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.Ability to work with customers and suppliers in different time zones.On occasion the ability to travel where required.What's on offer Competitive salary package.A diverse range of learning opportunities and career paths.Supportive and friendly team with regular social events.Career growth and development.Free employee assistance program.Novated Leasing.Flexible working to accommodate your work-life balance by agreement.Utilise our secure bike storage and shower facilities offered on site.Tritium is an equal opportunity employer.
