About the Role:
This is a Permanent Full-Time position within the Corporate Services department.
As the Fleet Officer, you will be responsible for the management of all RCH fleet vehicles and the efficient operation and use of fleet cars.
Responsible for all aspects of fleet management including the compliance of the vehicle, infringements process, record keeping and processing of all related Car Fleet invoicing.

The position requires the post holder to play a lead role in ensuring that contractors engaged by RCH are providing services of a high quality and deliver value for money while meeting the full requirements of statutory, mandatory and RCH policies.
Actively manage safety issues relating to fleet and parking to ensure timely corrective action is taken.

What you'll achieve:
Fleet Management:
Book vehicle corrective repairs on an as-needs basis, arrange vehicle pick up and drop off, and send booking advice to vehicle holders (Liaise with Service Providers) Inspect returned pool car documentation and update log sheets Manage the process of purchase, lease, and maintenance of fleet vehicles, coordinate cleaning of vehicles Monitor and track vehicle mileage and implement required actions to allow for effective Fleet Utilisation Manage vehicle insurance claims ensuring the relative insurance documents are completed and submitted Assist with customer queries and requests, such as pool car availability and special needs etc.
Record Keeping and Administration:
Maintain motor vehicle database to ensure accuracy and currency.
Identify opportunities to redesign/upgrade layout to improve access to information and reporting Identify all private use of fleet vehicles and enter information into spreadsheet for FBT tracking purposes Operate the CITILINK account and update records in database Track and follow up the FBT obligations for each Executive lease holder and arrange for payroll deductions to be amended to ensure that obligations are met Coordinate administration workflow to ensure optimal outcomes within a timely manner Stakeholder Management:
Responsible for managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal fleet car use Communicate and liaise with departments and stakeholders, reporting on issues affecting fleet service Provide support and advice to internal stakeholders and clients on fleet requirements and/or issues Your skills and experience:
Previous experience and current knowledge of Car Fleet Management Previous experience and knowledge of basic financial accounting Previous experience within procurement management or contractor management Experience in a Private Public Partnership Hospital Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain a strong business relationship with stakeholders Other requirements:
Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain Valid Working with Children Check Compliance with RCH's "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure Application process:
