Fleet Maintenance Officer

Salary Range: $84,166 to $90,558 + 11.5% SuperType: Fixed Term - Full Time - 14 MonthsRequirements: The successful candidate must have extensive understanding of maintenance scheduling and be able to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.WHO WE ARE:Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based emergency service.
Our highly skilled and equipped Volunteers are trained comprehensively in a wide range of emergency environments.
To minimise the impact of emergencies when they occur and strengthen the community's capacity to recover swiftly and safely, VICSES focuses on working with communities and partners in building resilience to achieve more aware, informed and prepared communities.ROLE SUMMARY:This role is responsible for coordinating the maintenance and repairs of the VICSES fleet, including vessels, and providing customer support to all VICSES members in relation to vehicle maintenance.
This role may provide support to operational staff during major or declared operations.
This role is also required to undertake the Asset Duty Officer (ADO) role as per the roster.
