About the role Working as part of a small, dynamic team in Fleet Services, the role of Fleet Coordinator at TasNetworks covers a range of functions including: Statewide operational management and optimisation of TasNetworks fleet (tool or trade) and contractors Vehicle fit outs, including rigid compliance and statutory checks Scoping of asset requirements and preparation of document specifications Effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders including management of contractual relationships Based in either Hobart, Launceston or Devonport this role plays an important part in the safe and efficient delivery of fleet, working towards fleet strategies and asset management initiatives. About you You will have a demonstrated knowledge of fleet or asset management (including preventative maintenance), with strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a customer focus and a commercial understanding, to ensure fleet business needs are met. You are able to use initiative and remain adaptable to a variety of work tasks, staying up to date with fleet related legislative and regulatory requirements. You may hold a MR or HR vehicle licence (we can assist with this if required), experience in the procurement and maintenance of vehicles and plant and have the ability to travel across the State providing fleet services to the whole of business.
