Fleet Coordinator
Opportunity: with one of our multinational clients in medical devices - fleet coordinator on for their Renasys devices in Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie
location: Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie
Requirement: ideally they live in Coffs and spend a morning per week in Coffs (4 hours) and then a day in Port (6 hours including driving).
Pay: $35 hourly with mileage

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is a leader in health care specialising in medical devices. Due to significant growth, they are seeking a fleet coordinator to manage their fleet of pumps. They will play a vital part in coordinating devices, providing phone support for patients, tracking, cleaning, and packaging devices, with a strong emphasis on IT, and ensuring devices are logged on the portal, with the ability to utilize a laptop.
KEY DUTIES:
Fleet Management: Oversee the operational excellence of our fleet pumps, ensuring they are always ready for action. Coordinate fuel delivery and maintenance schedules, keeping our operations seamless and uninterrupted.
Inventory Management: Keep a keen eye on fuel levels and schedule timely refueling to prevent any hiccups. Maintain meticulous fuel consumption and inventory records, ensuring we're always stocked up and ready to go.
Technical Support: Be the go-to person for troubleshooting and coordinating repairs for our fleet pumps. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to keep everything in top-notch condition.
Device Coordination: Coordinate devices used in our operations, including phones for patients. Track down, clean, and properly store devices after use.
IT Component: Utilize your strong IT skills to log devices on the portal and ensure smooth operation.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Dive into our fuel consumption and pump utilization data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Generate insightful reports and recommend strategies to keep our operations lean and effective.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure we're always in compliance with regulations and maintain the highest safety standards. Conduct training sessions to keep our team sharp on safety procedures and regulations.
Supplier Management: Foster strong relationships with our suppliers, negotiating contracts and addressing any issues that may arise. Keep an eye on supplier performance to ensure we're getting the best service possible.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Keep our records shipshape, maintaining accurate documentation of operations, maintenance, and inventory. Ensure we're always on top of record-keeping requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Be on the lookout for ways to improve our processes and implement best practices. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements to keep us ahead of the curve.
REQUIREMENTS AND IDEAL PROFILE:
Qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable
Prior similar experience in fleet management is a must
Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software, with knowledge of fuel pump mechanics and regulations. Strong IT skills are required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively.
Adaptability: Flexible and willing to learn.
