We are currently looking for a Fleet Controller to support one of our key customers, Qenos, at our site in Banksmeadow. Enjoy working with a capable and efficient team, a small fleet and utilise your well-honed skills and knowledge to make an impact to this operation.
Reporting to the Branch Manager and collaborating across the site with your colleagues, this position will plan and co-ordinate the pickup and delivery of consignments to ensure the effective and efficient utilisation of the prime mover and subcontract fleet.
Qenos Plant Shuttle activities, local and Interstate Bulk and package deliveries.
Arrange bookings for container movements via rail, and coordinate delivery of containers to/from the rail, in time to meet rail slots and Sydney Wharves, including load/unload of containers on site.
Ensure communication of any issues regarding deliveries (or pickups) direct to customer CSR's in advance, to allow for alternative arrangements to be made.
Ensure all drivers are complying with current State and National regulations and are provided with accurate information.
Ensure Jobs and Manifests are raised in the Toll works for all Jobs, and are costed / priced in accordance with current NDC transport rates.
Provide correct training and use of MDT's for local deliveries.
Assist in planning fleet labour in conjunction with Operations Manager.
Undertake training in other Transport functions, and fill-in in these roles as required.
Ensure Safe Driving Plans are available for all long distance loads in accordance with Toll's.
Skills Essential to the Job: Prior experience in a similar role.
