Fleet and Asset Coordinator * Salary: $95,102 - $107,905 (Plus Superannuation) * Fixed term until 31 December 2026 * Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available) * Usual work location: Melbourne, Victoria (flexibility may be available within Victoria) The Role The Fleet and Asset Coordinator is responsible for the management of fleet and asset services and all related policies, procedures and systems for the Victorian Fisheries Authority (VFA).
The role provides coordination, advice and administration support and is involved in all aspects of fleet and assets (e.g.
plant & equipment management) from acquisition and disposal, to repairs and maintenance, bookings, fuel cards and servicing.
This position ensures the delivery of safe and efficient fleet and assets that meet the VFA's current and emerging business needs within a whole of Victorian government fleet and asset framework.
A very good understanding of fleet and asset policies and procedures paired with the ability to maintain good working relationships with fleet and asset users and external suppliers, is required.
In addition, the Fleet and Asset Coordinator is responsible for managing mail and stationery requirements for head office and assisting (where possible) with office IT issues and other duties as required.
The role reports to the Manager, Corporate Operations in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
The Team The VFA is a statutory authority established to facilitate the effective management of Victoria's fisheries resources in a coordinated and strategic way that ensures their ongoing sustainability.
The VFA functions to ensure that the Government, the recreational and commercial fishing sectors, and the Victorian community can share in and obtain the benefits from sustainable fisheries management.
The VFA has around 190 employees located in the Melbourne CBD, metropolitan Melbourne and across regional Victoria.
