About the Role We are seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator to join a high-performing distribution team.
In this pivotal role, you will manage fleet logistics and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to customers.
Your ability to adapt under pressure, solve problems quickly, and communicate effectively with stakeholders will drive success in this position.
Key responsibilities include:    Coordinating and scheduling deliveries to meet delivery in full, on time targets.
Managing logistics challenges in real-time, including re-routing and stakeholder updates.
Maximising fleet utilisation while ensuring safety and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Monitoring inventory and stock levels at depots to prevent delays.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring proactive communication about delivery status.
Contributing to a positive customer experience by achieving Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets.
About You To excel in this role, you will have:    Proven experience in fleet allocation, scheduling, or logistics coordination.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under time pressures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a dynamic team environment.
Industry experience in transport, manufacturing or building materials (advantageous but not essential).
