What does the job look like? As a Fleet Allocator, you will play a crucial role in our Intermodal Rail team based in Acacia Ridge, ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner. With your exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning, and dispatching deliveries. We currently have a night shift opportunity available working Monday to Friday from 10pm to 6am with any overtime as required. Key areas include:
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationships.Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules, and compliance.Maintain regular contact with our customers to keep them updated and well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact them.Monitor service schedules for fleet and complete accurate handovers for the AM shift team each day.Complete yard checks and meet safety KPIs.Are you the one? Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, drivers, and customers.Experience in similar positions within the Logistics/Transport/Rail industry highly regarded.Strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area will be highly regarded, however not essential.Highly organized with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment.Highly proficient computer skills and ability to pick things up quickly.At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
