Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Front of House Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive impeccable service from the moment they walk in until they leave.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate front of house staff to provide exceptional service. Customer Service: Ensure guests are greeted warmly, seated promptly, and attended to with the highest level of professionalism and friendliness. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, reservations, and seating arrangements. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout the restaurant. Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner. Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak times and special events. Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery. Inventory Management: Assist in managing front of house supplies, including ordering and stock control. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Attitude: Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to problem-solving. Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian cuisine and dining culture is a plus. Certification: Relevant hospitality or management certifications preferred.
