The Role
Reporting to the Port Hedland Site Manager, this role will see you work as part of the maintenance team - carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance.
Our team are focused on maximizing mechanical equipment and systems, whilst achieving minimal downtime, so you'll need to be experienced with fault finding and problem solving.
You'll get to work on a variety of fixed plant and equipment, ranging from compressors, mono pumps, process pumps servicing water, fuel and raw materials, Pin Blenders, generators and gearboxes so no one day will be the same!
You will also be required to:
Carry out maintenance tasks within budget and compliance standards.
Coordinate preventative maintenance around production and breakdown maintenance.
Liaise with suppliers to secure parts in a timely manner.
Manage spare parts inventory and stores capturing maintenance works in SAP.
Manage maintenance tasks to completion and supervise contractors when required.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety shutdown system inspection timeframes.
What you'll bring
To ensure success in your application, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
Trade certificate in Mechanical fitting, or you may be an LV Mechanic, Boilermaker or Electrical Fitter with Mechanical Fitting experience onsite.
Dangerous Goods Security Card.
National Police Clearance.
Forklift Licence (desired).
Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Office and SAP (desirable).
Genuine appreciation of workplace safety management.
Positive, proactive, solution-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to cover shift work and overtime when required.
