This really is an exciting time to join Black Cat Syndicate Limited, as the company is moving at a rapid pace through development and into production, where you get to help shape, and play a part, in an up-and-coming gold mining company.
Having commenced high-grade underground mining and processing plant refurbishment activities, the aim is to be pouring gold bars at Paulsens by the end of 2024.

If this sounds like something you want to be involved in, we are now looking to find motivated 'can do' Fixed Plant Fitters to join our Maintenance Team in Processing.
This position involves working at Paulsens Gold Mine, located in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 180km west of Paraburdoo, on a 15/13 FIFO roster.
About the Opportunity The Fixed Plant Fitter is responsible for performing preventative, planned and breakdown mechanical maintenance and statutory checks on the mill and associated infrastructure to ensure ongoing reliability and efficiency.
Key accountabilities include: Complete daily mechanical maintenance activities of allocated sections.Undertake routine and statutory inspections of all fixed plant machinery and identify potential issues ensuring corrective measures are implemented.Troubleshoot machine components to determine causes of failures, including gathering of failure evidence for later analysis.Coordinate, supervise and update progress of contract staff during plant shutdowns.Working in a collaborative manner with Electrical and Processing, with an expectation to have fun along the way, the Processing Team will together maximise the amount of scheduled maintenance, minimise the impact of unscheduled works and optimally utilise the processing plant to deliver gold.
About You If you are an enthusiastic person with flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks within a small site team and self-manage a dynamic workload with a high degree of autonomy, this opportunity is for you! You will need the following:
Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment.Awareness of Maintenance Management Systems, maintenance planning and creation of work orders utilising software such as Pronto.Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket.Practical experience and sound knowledge of the operation of mineral processing plants, preferably gold, and associated infrastructure.Overall, we are seeking a positive and motivated 'can do' person, who has a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
