Job Description:
Vault Minerals is currently seeking a suitably qualified Electrician to join their Fixed Plant Processing Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative electrical maintenance and repairs of the processing facilities and other areas of the operation as required to ensure operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient manner.
This role is offered on a 2/2 roster - FIFO from Perth.
Key responsibilities will include: Understand and comply with all operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations;Assist in carrying out routine electrical maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of processing plant equipment, including but not limited to, Gyratory Crusher, conveyor belts, apron feeders, SAG Mill, screens, pumps and agitators;Assist in improving equipment performance and reducing operational costs;Assist in other areas of the operation as required ensuring operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant and efficient manner;Key factors to your success include: Basic computer literacyC Class Drivers license (manual)Senior First Aid certificateTrade Certificate, Electrical WorkerInstrumentation Certificate (Desirable)High Voltage switching certificateHigh Risk Licenses - EWP, ForkliftMaintenance experience in a Mineral Processing plantPLC Exposure, especially Allen BradleySAP or Pronto experienceWith an exciting future ahead, Vault Minerals is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a rewarding career in the mining industry.
