Fixed Asset Accountant

Job Purpose The role ensures the fixed asset close is delivered accurately and in line with the Group timetable hence supporting the business in decision making and, in combination with both the Internal and External Reporting Managers, enabling the Group to meet its external reporting obligations.

Owner of the fixed asset accounting process covering tangible and intangible assets, specifically:Delivery of fixed asset month end processes in line with Group timetable including:Ensure asset registers accurately reflect the value of assets in use across the group via reconciliation to source systems and physical verification of assetsOwner of the IFRS16 lease accounting processesProvide audit requirements as they relate to fixed and intangible assets ensuring clean and timely auditProvide input for CSO (Central Statistics Office) submissionsWhat do you bring? Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years experience in a management accounting roleExperience of managing fixed asset registersGood understanding of accounting under IFRS and group consolidationGood understanding of Key Financial ControlsAttention to detail and accuracy even under pressureDeadline driven, enjoys working in a fast paced environment and combines prioritisation with flexibility to deliver on promisesProficient in financial software and Microsoft ExcelJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
